William Burns heads Cross Country Healthcare (CCH), a firm that offers staffing for health care organizations, in the role of executive vice president and chief financial officer. Among his many responsibilities, William Burns has oversight for the financial health of the firm. In 2021, CCH received the Top Workplaces USA award from Energage.
Companies considered for the Top Workplaces award must have at least 150 employees and exist in multiple markets. CCH competed with 1,100 companies for its spot on the list.
Energage evaluates the companies based on an employee engagement survey. It compares the survey results against statements based on research, including 15 cultural drivers that are predictors of high performance in regard to industry standards.
More than an award, the recognition also serves as a benchmark for companies. In addition to illustrating a company’s resilience and business performance, it allows organizations to draw real-time insights to make informed decisions that facilitate positive impacts.
